How to Study Chemistry in 5 Minutes a Day
If you've reread a chemistry chapter but still can't answer a question about it, change what you do during revision. Choose one topic, review the key idea, then try a question with the answer covered. Use the result to decide what needs more work.

Try one topic
- Read the short explanation and identify the central idea.
- Use the chart or reference box, then cover it and recall the facts you need.
- Attempt the self-test before checking the answers. Write down the step that caused trouble.
- Practise a related question from your course notes, especially if the self-test exposed a gap.
Keep a specific reminder for your next session. “Check the number of hydroxide ions before calculating pOH” tells you more than “Revise acids and bases.” Return to that question later and see whether you can explain the setup without looking.
